Founded in August of 2017, The New Wave Coalition was formed to support new grassroots leaders in NYC, and encourage coordinated action and collaboration among New York City’s progressive groups. The Coalition is comprised of 151 members representing 108 organizations across New York City’s five boroughs. Coalition members meet monthly for dinner and trainings or issue discussions. Members also participate in a weekly newsletter which circulates asks, actions, and upcoming events to all members.
